The Tour of Britain is Coming to Llandudno

The Tour of Britain is the UK’s biggest professional cycling competition, it is also the largest free to spectate sporting event in the country and it will all be returning for 2014 from the 7th-14th September.

The best part is that the Tour of Britain will be passing right through Llandudno and past the Cae Mor Llandudno Hotel on its second day (8th September). The race consists of eight stages starting in Liverpool City Centre on the 7th and heading from Knowsley to Llandudno on the 8th with cyclists traversing 197km having already completed 130km on the first day of the tour.

Stage three on the 9th takes the competitors from Newtown to Tumble over 150km and then on the 10th, stage four will head from Worcester to Bristol for 182km. Stage five on Thursday the 11th will have cyclists travelling 171 km from Exmouth to Exeter. In stage six they will travel 203km from Bath to Hemel Hempstead and in stage seven they will cycle 220km from Camberley to Brighton. Stage eight is the conclusion of the race in London on the 14th.

The Tour of Britain is a fantastic national event and sporting performance attracting millions of roadside crowds year on year to watch the nail biting competition.
