Stay with Cae Mor For the Wales Year of Adventure

If you are not a local, you may not have heard of the Wales Year of Adventure yet.

2016 has been named by the Welsh Government and Welsh Tourist Board as the Year of Adventure in Wales. This means it is the perfect time to visit if you are looking to discover the majesty of the region.

Wales, with its beautiful rugged landscape filled with mountains, rivers, waterfalls, sea and forests has always been a centre for outdoor sport and art. Over the generations it has attracted droves of tourists, but in particular mountain bikers, kayakers, canoers, sailors, walkers, painters, photographers, scuba divers, wind surfers and those who enjoy almost any outdoor sport you can think of. The natural landscape with its varied terrain, wildlife and beauty made North Wales in particular a hub for adventure sport and also inspiration for artists.

Over the last few years some incredible world first attractions have come to North Wales, including Zip World, Bounce Below, Zip Caverns, Surf Snowdonia and soon Zip Forest. We are now home to the world’s first inland wave park, Europe’s fastest Zip line and other incredible adventure attractions that you won’t find anywhere else in the world, certainly not all in the same region.
Wales is really making a name for itself on a global scale in terms of adventure tourism and the Wales Year of Adventure is here to highlight that. This will be a wonderful year to visit North Wales as our local attractions will be pulling out all the stops to show we are the capital of adventure.
