Cambrian Rally 2015

cambrian rally

The Cambrian Rally returns to North Wales on Saturday 17th October and will commence and finish in Llandudno!

If you are a competitor or looking forward to spectating the Cambrian Rally the seaside town of Llandudno is a great place to stay as you will catch the adrenaline fuelled start and finish of the race. You can also make a weekend of the event and also enjoy some of Llandudno’s famous attractions and restaurants.

The Cae Mor Seafront Hotel in Llandudno and Llandudno Restaurant is an ideal place to stay for the Cambrian Rally. As a promenade situated hotel we are only a few short steps away from the race start and finish points. Many of our rooms boast spectacular sea views, as does our renowned Othello’s Restaurant.

This is a particularly exciting year for the Cambrian Rally event as it is in its 60th year! The Cambrian Rally is the last round of the REIS-BTRDA Series and the event first began in 1956, so it is well steeped in the history of North Wales.

The race is well known as being a challenging but beautiful route as it peels through the scenic North Wales countryside side.

The race traverses areas such as Penmachno near Betws Y Coed, Llandudno, which is the race HQ and Clocaenog and Alwen Forest near Llyn Brenig. In addition to being one of the qualifying rounds of the REIS BTRDA Series the race is widely recognised as one of the best rallies in the UK and last year the Cambrian Rally once again won ‘Best Rally of the Year’.

The stages have now been announced for the races and stage maps for spectators will be released very soon. The remaining spaces for competitors are now filling up rapidly and it looks set to be a fantastic competitor this year with some top talent.

This is just one of many incredible events taking place in and around Llandudno this autumn.
