Late summer brings some fantastic events to Llandudno including the annual Goldwing Light Parade. The Cae Mor Llandudno Hotel is one of the premier seafront hotels and so our guests will have the best view of both portions of this August Festival.
The Goldwing Light Parade managed to raise £4,750 for the Llandudno Life Boat Fund in 2013 and they hope to raise even more this year with your support.
The parade takes place on Saturday 30th August this year and features over 150 Honda Goldwing motorcycles being displayed on the promenade throughout the day and at 8pm, they take off on a fantastic parade of the town.
The reason this event is so popular is that it does not just appeal to Goldwing enthusiasts. Although it attracts Goldwing motorcycle fans from around the UK, it is also a wonderful event for all kinds of tourists and locals alike thanks to the spectacular light display portion of the parade.
The event is not just about the motorcycles themselves as those taking part will compete to produce the most effective and charming LED light display on their motorcycles as they parade through our seaside town. This beautiful display will finish up around 8:45pm and then the mayor of Llandudno will present prizes for the best light displays in several categories.
This is a marvellous event to support while staying at the Cae Mor Llandudno Hotel and is just one of our many fabulous annual festivals. It makes the perfect event to say goodbye to August and welcome early autumn.
If you are taking part in the parade be sure to book with us as soon as possible to always be close to the action.
For spectators of the event, the static display will take place from 10am until 4pm and the evening parade will take off from the lifeboat entrance on the seafront and consist of two circuits. It will head down the promenade and then back up towards Mostyn Street. After heading down Mostyn Street it will go along Mostyn Broadway and then back to the seafront.
The Cae Mor Hotel Llandudno offers some of the best views of the parade so why not dine in our restaurant beforehand, catch the parade and then enjoy a night of relaxation in our luxurious rooms?
