The Cae Mor Seafront Hotel in Llandudno is looking forward to welcoming all our guests for the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend this Friday.
If you are staying with us in Llandudno this bank holiday then you will get to enjoy the annual Llandudno Air Show.
Llandudno Air Show takes place on the Saturday of every spring Bank Holiday Weekend and is highly popular with locals and tourists alike.
The Air Show will begin at 11am on Saturday 23rd and the best spot for a great view is right on Llandudno Promenade. As a top seafront hotel the Cae Mor benefits from spectacular views of the promenade, beach, bay and Pier so you will be right in the heart of the action when you stay with us. All you need to do to get a prime viewing position on the prom is step out our front door and you are there!
This year there is a fantastic line up for the Air Show display and for the extra ground performances as well. You can look forward to seeing the event kick off with the pair of Bucker Jungman Bi-Planes first at 11am, the Avro Anson at 11:30am, followed by the BAC Strikemaster at lunchtime, the Catalina at 12:30pm, at 2pm is the unmissable Battle of Britain Memorial Flight featuring the Spitfire and Hurricane, at 2:35pm is the Gloster Meteor then the eagerly anticipated Red Arrows and the Royal Airforce Acrobatic Team perform at 3pm and the display will finish up at 3:40pm with the big finale and the Mustang.
In addition to the fantastic display itself there will of course be other entertainment during the Llandudno Air Show, including great live music from Llandudno Swing Band, the Yorkshire Volunteers Band, Helen Wyn Pari on the harp and the Siren Sisters.
You can also spot the Squirrel HT1 helicopter, the Griffin HT1 and many more.
Look out for the photo competition by Cambrian photography. There will be two fantastic photography competitions you can enter at the Air Show: Best aviation photograph taken at the Llandudno Airshow 2015 and best spirit of airshow photograph taken at the Llandudno Airshow 2015. Get your photos printed (No bigger than A4) and submit a copy and you might be the lucky winner!
